In Heraklion, Crete, the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Heraklion, in collaboration with the Technical University of Crete and the Development Agency of Crete is implementing an integrated smart management system for the water supply network of the Old Town of Heraklion. This system uses modern data collection and management technologies, based on the Internet of Things, detects leaks and interacts with the main parameters of the network.
